Located in the scenic landscape of Vermont, the college emphasizes personal growth, academic excellence, and community engagement. With a rich history and focus on nurturing students both inside and outside the classroom, Saint Michael's offers a comprehensive educational experience that prepares students for successful careers and meaningful lives. The college prides itself on inclusivity, diversity, and the holistic development of its students, making it a welcoming place for people from all backgrounds. As part of its mission, Saint Michael's maintains a dedication to creating a supportive and engaging campus community.

The role of Admission Visit and Event Manager at Saint Michael's College is a critical position within the admission department that focuses on designing and managing campus visit experiences and admission-related events. This full-time position offers a salary range between $50,000 and $55,000 annually. The Admission Visit and Event Manager is responsible for strategically planning, overseeing, and continuously improving visits and events to ensure prospective students, their families, and other key influencers have an engaging and personalized experience that aligns with the college's enrollment goals. This position involves working closely with the Director of Admission and other campus partners to develop visit programs that clearly communicate the academic and community values that set Saint Michael's apart from other institutions.

The manager will supervise a dynamic team of student ambassadors, overseeing recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and training to ensure ambassadors are well-prepared to represent the college. Partnership development is a major aspect of this role, requiring collaboration with various campus offices, including athletics, faculty, dining services, facilities, security, and marketing, ensuring a seamless and inclusive visit experience. This role also requires the manager to utilize technological tools such as the Slate CRM system to track attendance, registrations, and optimize communications related to visits and events. Moreover, the Admission Visit and Event Manager develops systems for measuring and improving the impact of visits and events to maximize their effectiveness.

In the context of event management, the position includes overseeing large-scale admission events like Open House and Admitted Student Days, with an emphasis on inclusivity in all aspects — from accessible facilities and communications to dietary accommodations. Budget management and creative use of resources are essential responsibilities, ensuring the optimal use of available funds. The position not only emphasizes operational execution but also strategic innovation to create a unique and memorable visit experience that reflects the spirit and mission of Saint Michael's College.

Saint Michael's College values diverse perspectives and encourages applications from candidates who may not meet every qualification but show potential to contribute meaningfully to the student and college community. The college is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering an inclusive hiring process free from discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic under law.

This position offers a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance; employer-paid life and disability insurance; options for voluntary life, critical illness, and accident insurance; parental leave; flexible spending accounts for healthcare and dependent care; 401(k) retirement plans; generous paid time off and holidays; tuition benefits for employees and dependents; employee and family assistance programs; wellness and well-being initiatives; discounted gym membership; paid volunteer time; access to athletic facilities and the college library; and numerous opportunities for personal and professional enrichment through campus lectures, presentations, and activities.
