The ideal candidate will have the skills necessary to manage a variety of administrative tasks including secretarial, clerical, and receptionist duties. This position plays a key part in maintaining accurate office record-keeping and supporting both staff and residents to enhance overall service quality. The role is adaptable, involving tasks from managing communications to assisting with payroll, accounts payable, and personnel files.
This is a part-time position offering a competitive hourly wage ranging from $22.00 to $24.00 depending on experience. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Prior administrative or receptionist experience preferred
- Pass drug screening
- Pass criminal background check
- Pass reference inquiry
Job Qualifications
- Must be able to communicate verbally in a positive and professional manner
- Must be able to relate positively and favorably to residents, families, and work cooperatively with other employees
- Must have the ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions in English
- Basic computer knowledge and ability with an aptitude to learn company software
- Must pass drug screening, criminal background investigation and reference inquiry
- Related administrative experience at a level necessary to accomplish the job
Job Duties
- Answer multiple line telephones
- Pick up additional shifts if needed
- Greet the public and assist with marketing
- Cover other receptionist shifts as needed
- Assist with typing, filing, ancillary input, payroll, distribution of mail, accounts payable, and personnel files
- Attend and participate in orientation, training, educational activities, and staff meetings
- Participate in quality improvement activities as assigned
