Job Duties

  • executing the day-to-day administrative and HR functions of the department
  • staffing, managing, and training direct report positions including development, counseling, and performance evaluations
  • overseeing accurate and timely weekly payroll processing and assisting Time Administrator as needed
  • administering Publix Corporate and Manufacturing policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • notifying plant management of policy updates and corporate communications
  • tracking, reporting, and analyzing HR related data for management and corporate requests
  • serving as plant contact to Industrial Operations Personnel and other departments on HR issues
  • coordinating Associate Voice Survey and semi-annual manufacturing performance evaluation for plant hourly associates
  • assisting in scheduling, planning, and coordinating department meetings
  • driving improvements within the Administration Department
  • conducting new associate orientations
  • assisting General Manager and plant management on special projects
