Job Duties
- executing the day-to-day administrative and HR functions of the department
- staffing, managing, and training direct report positions including development, counseling, and performance evaluations
- overseeing accurate and timely weekly payroll processing and assisting Time Administrator as needed
- administering Publix Corporate and Manufacturing policies, procedures, and guidelines
- notifying plant management of policy updates and corporate communications
- tracking, reporting, and analyzing HR related data for management and corporate requests
- serving as plant contact to Industrial Operations Personnel and other departments on HR issues
- coordinating Associate Voice Survey and semi-annual manufacturing performance evaluation for plant hourly associates
- assisting in scheduling, planning, and coordinating department meetings
- driving improvements within the Administration Department
- conducting new associate orientations
- assisting General Manager and plant management on special projects
