The role of Administrative Coordinator II at the Bush Combat Development Complex located on the Texas A&M RELLIS Campus in Bryan, Texas, is a vital staff position within the System Offices. This role involves overseeing and coordinating comprehensive administrative support functions to ensure smooth operations of the complex. The position requires a professional who can successfully serve as the first point of contact for employees and guests, demonstrating discretion and sound independent judgment in handling significant matters. Administrative responsibilities include managing office procedures, coordinating activities and services, planning and executing administrative operations, and potentially serving as the office manager. The incumbent may also assist with budget development, attend meetings on behalf of supervisors, analyze projects and programs, and implement management policies and procedures. Additionally, the role demands handling special analyses, project summaries, operational reports, records retention, travel arrangements, meeting and event planning, office supplies and equipment maintenance, and making recommendations for process improvements. Supervision duties include training, evaluating, and assigning tasks to other staff members.
The salary range for this position is commensurate with experience, between $3,042.67 and $5,666.67 per month. This role requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience, plus three years of related work experience. The candidate must be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DOD) security clearance, and be a U.S. citizen, as the position is security-sensitive.
