The role of Administrative Concierge in KPMG's Administrative & Office Experience organization plays a vital part in creating a welcoming and efficient office environment for partners, managing directors, clients, and professional staff. This position involves a range of responsibilities that blend customer service, administrative tasks, and operational coordination. An Administrative Concierge at KPMG acts as the first point of contact for in-office needs, which includes everything from reception and visitor escorting to meeting setup, arranging catering, and handling mail and technology support. Working closely with the Office Experience team and other internal and external stakeholders, the Administrative Concierge ensures smooth day-to-day operations by managing requests related to technology, hospitality, client services, and facilities. The role demands a high level of professionalism, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced and detail-oriented environment.

Additionally, this position requires an analytical mindset and proactive problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot issues and provide timely solutions. The Administrative Concierge also supports transactional administrative duties like travel arrangement, drafting firm correspondence, and processing client invoices. Job Requirements

  • Minimum two years of recent administrative experience or customer service hospitality industry experience
  • Completed coursework from an accredited college university preferred
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • Excellent web-based research skills
  • Ability to learn firm-wide applications including GenAI
  • Analytical skills and ability to proactively troubleshoot problems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Motivated and innovative with a proactive approach
  • Able to manage competing priorities and deadlines

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum two years of recent administrative experience or customer service hospitality industry experience AV technology experience a plus
  • Completed coursework from an accredited college university preferred minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications excellent web-based research skills and ability to learn firm-wide applications including GenAI
  • Analytical skills and ability to proactively troubleshoot problems ask critical questions for clarification collect data to aid in developing providing solutions must also understand when to escalate matters with the ability to work independently and effectively as a team member must be motivated innovative and have a proactive approach while working under minimal supervision
  • Strong verbal written communication problem solving and organizational skills to support an environment driven by customer service and teamwork capability to build productive relationships with peers leverage strengths expertise and diverse perspectives to maintain a high-performing team capacity to manage competing priorities and or deadlines with service excellence with strong attention to detail time management prioritization and project coordination skills required for fast-paced professional services environment

Job Duties

  • Collaborate with the Office Experience team to support in-office needs including reception escorting visitors meeting setup and support arranging catering mail coordination of technology and facilities support and other general office support for partners managing directors clients and other professional staff activities
  • Provide transactional administrative support within the Administrative Services business model including arranging travel drafting firm letters client invoices and other documents and complete additional administrative tasks as assigned
  • Manage intake process for day-to-day requests to include technology hospitality client office and building maintenance issues escalate as necessary
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams and vendors to provide support for scanning copying and mail shipping during peak times
  • Communicate with KPMG professionals and external clients in a friendly and professional manner working with a diverse range of individuals at all levels in the organization
  • Troubleshoot common issues provide appropriate solutions and alternatives and escalate concerns as appropriate follow standard practices and procedures for all activities
  • Act with integrity professionalism and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment
