Job Description

Our client is a leading real estate development company based in New York City, specializing in large-scale residential projects. Renowned for their innovative approach to urban development and commitment to quality, this company plays a pivotal role in shaping the city's skyline through transformative housing initiatives. Currently, they are spearheading an exciting residential lease-up project in Willets Point, Queens, one of the city's most dynamic and rapidly developing neighborhoods. The project promises to deliver state-of-the-art living spaces designed to foster community living and urban convenience.

This opportunity is focused on recruiting five Administrative Assistants to bolster the operational and administrative functions required during the lease-up phase. This role is ideal for recent graduates and individuals early in their professional journey who are eager to gain practical experience in environments related to real estate, property management, leasing, and compliance. The successful candidates will play a critical role in supporting the leasing process by managing documentation, assisting prospective residents, maintaining meticulous records, and facilitating smooth communication among various teams. These assistants will be part of an engaging workplace that offers both a Midtown Manhattan office and an on-site presence at the Willets Point location until their transition to full-time work at the project site.

Salary for this position ranges from $22 to $25 per hour, depending on experience. Additionally, one of the five available positions requires fluency in both Mandarin and English, highlighting the project's commitment to diversity and inclusive communication.

Administrative Assistants in this role must exhibit strong organizational skills and an analytical mindset. They will be tasked with managing detailed data entry, reviewing applications, processing resident files, and providing exceptional customer service to prospective residents. The ability to multitask and communicate effectively within a fast-paced environment is essential, as the lease-up period often demands agility and thoroughness. Flexibility is also important, as the position may occasionally require working on Saturdays to meet project deadlines and support various operational needs.

Working alongside leasing, compliance, and property management teams, these Administrative Assistants will gain invaluable exposure to the inner workings of real estate leasing projects. Responsibilities include showing apartment units to prospective tenants, assisting with scheduling and communication, and supporting clerical projects and report generation. The role is designed not only to enhance administrative capabilities but also to develop professional skills related to customer relations and complex project support.

This position offers more than just a job; it provides a platform for career growth in a vibrant and expanding segment of the real estate industry. Candidates will benefit from a unique chance to contribute to a landmark development in New York City while honing skills that are transferable across numerous sectors. The employer also provides access to the Atrium Care Package upon eligibility, which includes healthcare plans, discount programs, and paid time off, further enhancing the overall employment experience.

Applicants should have at least a high school diploma with a bachelor’s degree strongly preferred. Experience in administrative roles, leasing, or customer service can give candidates a competitive edge. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, strong communication skills, and a customer-focused attitude are necessary for success. This is an excellent career entry point for motivated individuals who thrive in dynamic environments and are excited to contribute to an innovative, large-scale development project.
