Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 2 years of professional administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
- Experience with SAP software preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage changing priorities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of college coursework is a plus
- At least 2 years of professional experience in administrative functions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software including Email, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience working with SAP software is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities
- Team player with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
Job Duties
- Perform a variety of administrative activities for the Meter Operations department, including using multiple applications and software programs
- Prepare monthly invoices as well as operational and compliance reports
- Maintain records and documentation for meter testing and communicate with internal and external customers regarding processes and results
- Generate purchase orders using the SAP system
- Coordinate the processing of all departmental invoices and submit them to the internal Accounts Payable team
- Track inventory using the SAP system
- Serve as telephone operator for inbound calls by answering calls, providing assistance when possible, and forwarding messages
- Schedule customer appointments using Banner CIS system as needed
- Serve as receptionist for the department by working with vendors or walk-in customers
- Maintain confidentiality of customer and employee information
- Contribute to a high performing and evolving work environment
- Perform other related administrative tasks as directed
