Lutron is currently seeking a collaborative and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join the Corporate Operations team supporting the Corporate Operations Vice President at their Global Headquarters. This vital role requires a professional who can effectively conserve their executive’s time, enhance organizational efficiency, and promote the corporate image by acting as a representative internally and externally. The position demands impeccable communication skills to liaise between key executives, customers, and employees, ensuring smooth and efficient operational flow.

The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for managing numerous meeting requests with professionalism and sound judgment, prioritizing tasks effectively, and handling complex travel arrangements that include domestic and international itineraries. This role involves detailed planning and scheduling to secure transportation, lodging, and meeting accommodations efficiently. Furthermore, the assistant will manage various projects and special assignments by setting clear objectives, prioritizing tasks, and monitoring progress to ensure successful completion. Anticipating requirements and handling consultant agreements and purchase orders are also key facets of this role.

As an integral part of the team, the Administrative Assistant will contribute to improving operational processes by evaluating current methods and implementing changes where necessary to enhance quality results. The job requires proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP and Salesforce.com. Candidates must have a minimum of three years of experience in administrative support, preferably with executives or managers, demonstrating strong calendar management and travel logistics skills.

Job Requirements

  • Must be located within commutable distance of Coopersburg, PA to accommodate in-office schedules
  • You are authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require Lutron to sponsor you for any work visa, such as an H-1B, either immediately or at any time in the future

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 years previous experience in an administrative support role
  • experience supporting managers or executives in coordinating calendars, travel logistics, meetings preferred
  • Fluent with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with a variety of software-based ERP systems such as SAP, Salesforce.com
