The role of Administrative Assistant Receptionist at Current is essential for supporting the daily operations and facilitating seamless communication within a fast-paced office environment. This full-time hourly, non-exempt position is based in Springfield, MO, supporting both physical office locations and remote employees. The successful candidate will serve as the company's first point of contact, managing front desk responsibilities such as greeting clients and visitors, answering phone calls, and directing inquiries professionally. Maintaining a tidy, organized, and welcoming reception area along with common areas such as restrooms and kitchen facilities is a key part of this role.
The Administrative Assistant Receptionist also plays a crucial administrative role, handling incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries, coordinating schedules, preparing meeting materials, and providing cross-departmental administrative support. Responsibilities extend to organizing and maintaining confidential files and records, assisting in the creation of correspondence, presentations, and reports, and managing logistics for meetings and company events. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and various office equipment is necessary, alongside strong communication skills and keen attention to detail.
This position requires a high level of professionalism, discretion, and adaptability to troubleshoot issues and provide solutions efficiently. The ideal candidate demonstrates effective time management, organizational skills, and fosters a collaborative team environment while committed to enhancing client relationships. Though this role has no supervisory responsibilities, it is integral to the smooth functioning and positive atmosphere of the workplace.

Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 2 years of administrative or receptionist experience
- basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- strong communication skills
- excellent organizational abilities
- ability to handle multiple priorities effectively
- maintain professionalism and confidentiality
- willingness to work full-time including some weeks over 40 hours
- based in Springfield MO or willing to commute
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent required associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- at least 2 years of experience in an administrative or receptionist role
- proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- strong organizational and time management abilities

- experience in a multi-department organization is a plus

Job Duties
- serve as the first point of contact for clients visitors and staff managing front desk operations answering calls and directing inquiries

- coordinate schedules resources and communication for internal and external events
- monitor and manage department supplies and equipment and troubleshoot basic office technology issues
- perform other administrative tasks as assigned to support the dynamic needs of the team and organization
