Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum 3 years leadership experience in tourism or hospitality
- Required 3-5 years experience in RV campground management
- Preferred food and beverage experience
- Preferred Safe Serve certification
- Required budgeting, forecasting, and P&L experience
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as walking, lifting 25-45 pounds, climbing stairs
- Ability to work irregular hours in a 24/7 hospitality environment
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to use technology and software systems proficiently
- Strong leadership qualities
- Willingness to adapt and manage multiple projects
- Reliable and punctual attendance
Job Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality management, or related field preferred
- 3-5 years of tourism or hospitality leadership experience
- 3-5 years of RV campground experience required
- Food and beverage experience preferred
- Safe Serve certification preferred
- Budgeting, forecasting, and profit and loss experience required
- Experience in event planning and execution is a plus
- Proficient in computer software, sales tracking, CRM tools, and social media
- Experience managing payroll and employee lifecycle using automated systems
- Ability to adapt quickly to change and lead others
- Strong multitasking and project management skills
- Strategic thinker
- Independent self-starter with teamwork capabilities
- Competitive nature with a strong desire to win
Job Duties
- Provide outstanding leadership to drive and motivate the team
- Recruit, interview, coach, train, and manage performance of employees
- Ensure effective staffing and scheduling, including non-traditional workers
- Oversee time and labor management to ensure compliance and efficiency
- Champion human resource strategies, including payroll, benefits, and compliance
- Train and motivate team to deliver exceptional guest experiences
- Maintain optimal property conditions and high-quality standards
- Resolve and address guest concerns and complaints
- Oversee guest service portals, communication tools, and online review platforms
- Collaborate with Revenue Generation team on pricing, promotions, and marketing
- Identify opportunities for enhancing guest experience through partnerships and events
- Lead financial results management including budgeting, forecasting, and expense control
- Manage ancillary revenue streams like food and beverage and ticketed events
- Collaborate with third-party vendors to enhance property success
- Communicate effectively with corporate operations and support teams
- Lead and direct capital expenditures and property projects
- Perform property inspections and problem-solving
- Maintain reliable and punctual attendance with flexibility for varied shifts
- Perform other duties as assigned
