Located at 3205 Skippack Pike, Lansdale, PA, Meadowood prides itself on fostering a caring and respectful atmosphere for both its residents and staff. The organization is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring equal employment opportunities regardless of race, color, gender, marital status, age, religion, national origin or citizenship status, veteran status, disability, handicap, or genetic information. As a smoke and drug-free establishment, Meadowood maintains a safe and healthy environment for all members of the community.
The Concierge Community Service Associate plays a critical role at Meadowood by serving as a primary communication link between residents, guests, and staff within the community. This part-time position entails approximately 24 hours of work per week, scheduled Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM. The role is hourly paid and focused on delivering exceptional customer service while supporting cultural and religious programming efforts. The Concierge Community Service Associate is responsible for managing all community space bookings through an efficient in-house system, ensuring all events and activities run smoothly.
In addition to managing bookings, this role includes providing valuable support at the Community Service Desk, which involves answering incoming phone calls, greeting visitors and residents warmly, coordinating information efficiently, and offering a friendly first impression to everyone who interacts with the community center. Employees at Meadowood express a strong sense of pride and connection to their work; the environment is described as welcoming and motivating, with a supportive culture that values each individual’s contributions. This makes the role not only integral to the day-to-day operations but also a rewarding experience for someone passionate about community service and customer engagement.
Moreover, the position offers a range of part-time benefits, emphasizing Meadowood's commitment to employee well-being and career development. Benefits include a flexible paid time-off plan, fully vested retirement savings with dollar-for-dollar match after one year, and a confidential Employee Assistance Program. Employees also enjoy referral and retention bonuses, discounted meals from the Garden Café, continuing education support such as tuition reimbursement and scholarship awards, discounted salon services, and access to wellness programs including a free on-site fitness center and pool membership. Fun events, prizes, and various incentives further enrich the workplace experience.
This role is ideal for individuals who are community-oriented, have excellent interpersonal skills, and are able to effectively coordinate multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Meadowood’s dedication to inclusivity and the well-being of its residents and staff makes the Concierge Community Service Associate position a unique opportunity to join a team that truly values each member and their contribution to creating a vibrant, welcoming community.
