Job Requirements
- Must love all animals
- previous experience as a receptionist or front desk in a busy environment
- proficient multi-tasking and filing
- strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- comfortable working with animals and pet owners
- proficient in using office equipment and basic computer software such as Microsoft Office and scheduling software
- ability to stay calm and professional during stressful or emergency situations
- team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a receptionist or front desk in a busy environment

Job Duties
- Greet clients and their pets in a warm, friendly, and professional manner
- answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and handle inquiries related to services, treatments, and clinic hours
- manage client records, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date
- process patient intake forms and collect client information
- check in patients for appointments and prepare necessary documentation for the veterinary team
- coordinate communication between clients and veterinary staff, ensuring smooth operations
- assist with billing, payment processing, and handling insurance claims as needed
- maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies
- help manage inventory for office supplies, pet medications, and pet products
- ensure that clients are informed of any delays, cancellations, or updates to their appointments
- provide compassionate care and attention to pets while they are waiting
- assist with other administrative tasks and special projects as needed
