Job Requirements

  • previous experience as a receptionist or front desk in a busy environment

Job Duties

  • Greet clients and their pets in a warm, friendly, and professional manner
  • answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and handle inquiries related to services, treatments, and clinic hours
  • manage client records, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date
  • process patient intake forms and collect client information
  • check in patients for appointments and prepare necessary documentation for the veterinary team
  • coordinate communication between clients and veterinary staff, ensuring smooth operations
  • assist with billing, payment processing, and handling insurance claims as needed
  • maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies
  • help manage inventory for office supplies, pet medications, and pet products
  • ensure that clients are informed of any delays, cancellations, or updates to their appointments
  • provide compassionate care and attention to pets while they are waiting
  • assist with other administrative tasks and special projects as needed
