Job Requirements
- Ability to understand guests' needs and respond proactively, courteously, professionally and efficiently
- excellent telephone etiquette
- ability to read, write and speak English with good diction
- basic computer, typing and fax machine knowledge
- ability to recognize, pronounce and locate names, telephone and room numbers
- multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment
- prior customer service experience
- high school diploma or GED or equivalent

- customer service management experience preferred
- fully bilingual in English and Spanish or other listed languages preferred
Job Duties
- Provides a consistently high level of service and satisfaction to patients and guests
- answers phone using excellent telephone etiquette
- responds to requests in a courteous, professional and efficient manner
- promotes a caring work environment courteous, thoughtful and supportive of co-workers
- uses computer skills to assist guests, patients, and healthcare team with appropriate information
- participates in departmental performance improvement initiatives
- maintains up-to-date and thorough knowledge of hospital locations and phone numbers
- follows all policies and procedures
- performs other specialty services and duties as requested to ensure smooth operation of entrance/lobby and patient experience
- interacts appropriately with children to help them feel at ease
