NCC prides itself on delivering educational opportunities to a diverse student population, committed to the principle that learning enriches personal growth and professional development. The adjunct faculty role in Hospitality, Food & Beverage is a part-time, credit teaching position designed for professionals passionate about educating the next generation in hospitality disciplines. These positions offer the flexibility of teaching on-campus at one of NCC's campuses or online, adapting to the needs of the students and college departments. Adjunct faculty members play a critical role in providing hands-on, real-world education that prepares students for successful careers in hospitality management, food and beverage services, and related fields. The college seeks candidates with a master's degree in the discipline or a related field, and teaching experience at the college level is preferred. Due to fluctuating enrollment and course needs, the number of adjunct positions varies each semester.
Applicants for these roles are placed into a pool for consideration as specific teaching needs arise. When openings occur, hiring managers review the pool of qualified candidates to select instructors who match the requirements of the available courses. Successful candidates must be prepared to submit official transcripts from all previously attended undergraduate and graduate institutions before a contract can be issued. The application process requires candidates to complete their submissions in one sitting and upload a resume or CV, cover letter, and references, consolidated into no more than five documents. This efficient hiring process supports NCC's mission to provide outstanding education while maintaining operational flexibility in faculty staffing.
