Job Description

Mobilitas is a commercial insurance company established by CSAA Insurance Group with a mission to reinvent the commercial insurance landscape specifically within the mobility sector. This dynamic and forward-thinking company is dedicated to providing innovative insurance solutions that cater to the evolving needs of how businesses operate today. Mobilitas prides itself on its inventive approach, using creativity and technological skills to address the unique challenges faced by modern mobility enterprises, delivering exceptional service to its partners and clients. The company fosters a culture of innovation and rapid progress, encouraging motivated individuals who think big, move fast, and are passionate about building a company from the ground up—the kind of environment that breaks free from the traditional constraints seen in the insurance industry.

We are currently seeking an Actuarial Manager specializing in Commercial Auto Pricing within the mobility sphere. This remote position is ideal for an experienced professional ready to lead a team of actuarial analysts and consultants, providing coaching and mentoring to nurture growth and expertise in pricing and analytical projects. The manager will oversee the actuarial analyses that inform business decisions, ensuring projects meet deadlines and maintain high standards of quality. Strong communication and relationship-building with both internal stakeholders and external clients are key components of the role, requiring the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and trusted recommendations. As an integral part of the Mobilitas team, the Actuarial Manager plays a pivotal role in pushing forward the boundaries of commercial insurance in the mobility arena, contributing to a company culture that values innovation, inclusivity, and growth.

This role demands leadership skills combined with technical expertise in commercial insurance actuarial analysis, particularly in the commercial auto market. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing teams while also being effective in statistical and actuarial methodologies. They will be responsible for developing strong business relationships, managing team workloads, recruiting top talent, and challenging leadership to continually drive the company towards excellence. Mobilitas offers a mission-driven work environment with a strong commitment to employee growth, a flexible remote-first culture, and a dedication to sustainability and community impact. The company supports a total compensation package with additional benefits such as annual bonuses and a 401(k) plan with a company match. This position is open to applicants based anywhere in the United States except Hawaii and Alaska, and while salary will be discussed based on location, experience, and education, there are no visa sponsorship options available. An exciting opportunity awaits those ready to join a team dedicated to reinventing mobility insurance and making a meaningful impact in the industry.
