Job Description
Spring Creek by Bonaventure is a distinguished senior living community renowned for its comprehensive and compassionate approach to elder care. This state-of-the-art facility offers a variety of living options tailored to meet the unique needs of its residents, including assisted living, licensed boarding home care, memory care, independent living, and in-home health care services. Unlike nursing homes, Spring Creek provides a vibrant lifestyle for seniors that focuses on enhancing their quality of life while fostering independence and dignity. The community thrives on a culture of respect, gratitude, and empowerment, ensuring both residents and team members enjoy a supportive and engaging environment. Bonaventure Senior Living is known for its commitment to doing the right thing, which shapes every aspect of care and interaction within the community.
The open position at Spring Creek by Bonaventure is for a full-time Activity Coordinator, a role that is vital in enriching the lives of residents through dynamic and enjoyable activities. The salary for this position starts from $22.66 up to $23.66 per hour, with paid training available and no prior experience necessary, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about creating fun and meaningful experiences for seniors. As an Activity Coordinator, you will play a critical role in planning, coordinating, and leading a range of resident activities designed to engage and inspire. This role offers the unique reward of positively impacting seniors’ day-to-day lives while working in a fun and supportive environment.
The Activity Coordinator is responsible for organizing and facilitating activities throughout the day that cater to the interests and needs of the resident community. You will assist with planning special events, coordinate resident meetings, support the onboarding of new residents, and design community-specific programs that foster social interaction and personal growth. The title for this position may also be listed under variations such as Activity Director, Recreation Associate, or Activities Coordinator in different companies, but the core mission remains the same: to enhance residents’ lifestyle through creative and inclusive activity programming.
Working at Spring Creek by Bonaventure means joining a team that values its members and invests in their success through comprehensive training, mentorship, and opportunities for personal and professional growth. Team members enjoy competitive wages, a robust benefits package including medical and dental coverage (for those working at least 30 hours per week), flexible spending accounts for healthcare and day care expenses, a generous 401k retirement program with matching, paid time off that starts accruing immediately, and six paid holidays each year. Bonaventure Senior Living is committed to maintaining a positive and fulfilling workplace culture where employees feel respected, motivated, and empowered to deliver exceptional service to their residents. If you are a creative, energetic individual with a passion for serving others and making a meaningful difference, Spring Creek by Bonaventure invites you to apply and become part of their dedicated team.
