These services include a network of award-winning veterans' homes, an innovative home loans program, and special statewide benefits and veteran outreach initiatives. The position is a permanent, full-time role, based in Napa County, with work hours from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. The salary for this classification ranges from $3,167 to $3,966 per month, with new state employees typically hired at the minimum salary. CalVet encourages veterans to apply and offers a Veterans Hiring Preference program, recognizing the valuable experience veterans bring to the workforce. Applicants must pass an Activity Coordinator examination prior to employment.

Employees at CalVet adhere to state or county public health guidelines related to infectious disease prevention, ensuring a safe environment for both staff and residents. CalVet also offers a variety of growth opportunities across multiple disciplines including skilled trades, healthcare, administrative, and professional roles, fostering career development and personal enrichment. This position plays a vital role in delivering quality care and services in a respectful and supportive setting that honors the sacrifices made by the veteran community.

Joining CalVet means becoming part of a committed team that values integrity, respect, and excellence in veteran care. The role of Activity Coordinator is not only a job but a meaningful career that positively impacts the lives of those who have served our country. CalVet provides supportive resources and a collaborative culture where your unique contributions are valued and your professional growth is supported.
