This full-time Activity Coordinator role pays between $22.50 and $23.50 per hour and involves approximately 40% time spent at California Apartments in Venice and 60% at Gibson Manor in South Los Angeles. The coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and facilitating a diverse range of engaging activities for residents, which includes events like Bingo, Arts and Crafts, chair exercises, and monthly luncheons. Additionally, the role involves organizing community workshops focusing on health, finance, or other topics designed to promote both resident involvement and personal enrichment.

The Activity Coordinator plays a critical role in marketing and recruiting residents to participate in the range of activities, programs, and services offered by the property management and allied service providers. This position demands close collaboration with property management and social service teams to support overall resident wellness and social connectivity. Responsibilities include creating monthly calendars and flyers to keep the residents informed and motivated to engage in community events. The role also involves monitoring communications effectively, requiring daily email reviews and responses within 24 hours.

Candidates must demonstrate organizational skills, creativity, and the ability to manage programming effectively across multiple sites. Proficiency in English, ability to work professionally and maintain a positive attitude at all times, and flexibility in scheduling are critical. The role may require driving to local areas, company meetings, and sister properties using personal transportation, making a valid Driver's License, auto insurance, and reliable transportation essential.

Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
