The role available is a Full-Time Lifestyle Assistant (Activities Assistant) based at Spring Arbor Senior Living in Frankfort, KY, a premier Assisted Living and Memory Care community under the Allegro Living umbrella. This position plays a crucial role in supporting senior residents through dynamic activities and programs that promote engagement, socialization, and overall wellness. The Lifestyle Assistant will work closely with the Lifestyle Director to plan and implement activities such as games, crafts, music sessions, fitness classes, and social events designed to enrich the lives of residents. Creativity, strong communication, and a passion for senior care are fundamental attributes needed for this position. The role involves assisting with daily activities, special events, and outings while encouraging residents to participate and build meaningful connections within the community. The schedule is full-time with weekday work hours and every other weekend required. Preferred qualifications include experience in senior living or related fields and a high school diploma or equivalent. Job Requirements

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or 21 to drive the company bus
  • Must possess a valid driver's license or commercial driver's license (CDL) for the state where the vehicle is operated
  • Must possess high energy, enthusiasm, decision making, problem solving, planning, organization, and rapport building skills
  • Must have positive criminal background screening
  • Must have an acceptable department of motor vehicle (DMV) record
  • the record must be checked annually

Job Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable, organized, and team-oriented
  • Passion for working with older adults in a senior living or assisted living environment
  • Experience in senior living, assisted living, memory care, activities assistant, recreation, childcare, or event planning preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Creative, energetic, and comfortable leading small groups

Job Duties

  • Support the Lifestyle Director in planning and leading resident activities and engagement programs
  • Assist with daily senior living activities including games, crafts, music, fitness, and social events
  • Encourage resident participation and foster meaningful connections
  • Help coordinate special events, celebrations, and community outings
  • Prepare activity materials and maintain organized activity spaces
  • Provide one-on-one and group engagement for residents
  • Assist with documentation, activity calendars, and program setup
