Job Requirements

  • Reliable transportation
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • strong computer skills
  • ability to walk frequently throughout the community
  • successful completion of drug screen, background check, and TB test
  • availability to work some evenings and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • three to five years of experience in recreation and activity planning
  • experience working with older adults
  • knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • strong research and organizational skills
  • ability to communicate effectively in English

Job Duties

  • Coordinate and implement recreational and educational activities for residents
  • plan and execute community events and outings
  • produce newsletters, flyers, and calendars for residents and employees
  • manage meeting room reservations and supervise event spaces
  • operate multimedia equipment for programs and meetings
  • collaborate with resident volunteers and committee members
  • maintain resident databases and file systems
