The organization prides itself on embodying these values in every aspect of its operation, creating a positive environment not only for its employees but also for the communities it serves. As a leader in the industry, Roberts Resorts & Communities invests deeply in fostering a culture where integrity and exceptional customer service are paramount. This progressive culture attracts team members who are passionate about making meaningful contributions and eager to be part of a vibrant, supportive community. By emphasizing these core values, the company maintains a commitment to excellence that resonates through every engagement and interaction, helping to solidify its status as a trusted provider of resort and community experiences.

The role of Activities Support Staff at Roberts Resorts & Communities is a key position within the activities department, requiring a team-oriented approach to facilitate diverse events. These events vary widely in size and type, including concerts, dances, happy hours, trivia nights, luncheons, vendor shows, and other community engagements. Activities Support Staff members contribute significantly to the smooth and successful execution of each event, ensuring that every detail—from setup to guest assistance—is attended to with care and professionalism. This position generally operates in both indoor and outdoor environments, adapting to the demands of evening, weekend, and holiday schedules based on event timing. The job demands physical stamina as it involves lifting, moving equipment, and other active tasks that support event logistics.

The primary objective for this role is to provide comprehensive support in all facets of event management, including venue setup, safety compliance, customer service, and logistical operations. Success in this role is measured by the ability to efficiently prepare venues with necessary equipment such as chairs, tables, stages, and audio-visual technology, assist guests with information and transactions, support the event manager in managing registrations and ticketing, and enforce safety protocols including fire code regulations and emergency procedures. Adaptability is essential as the Activities Support Staff may be cross-trained to perform additional roles within the department, such as cashier, bar back, ticket taker, or banquet server, depending on event needs. This variety offers opportunities for skill development and broad exposure to different aspects of event coordination and hospitality.

In all interactions, the Activities Support Staff serve as ambassadors of the company’s commitment to excellent customer service. Promptly addressing attendee questions or concerns with professionalism ensures that each event experience is positive and memorable. This supportive role not only helps to maintain the flow of events but also enhances guest satisfaction and contributes to the overall reputation of Roberts Resorts & Communities as a premier destination for community experiences. With the backing of a strong, value-driven company, this position offers team members a chance to grow within a dynamic and inclusive workplace that values diversity, collaboration, and exceptional service.
