The temporary position of Activities Support Staff at Roberts Resorts & Communities presents an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative team dedicated to enhancing guest experiences and elevating the resort's brand identity. Beginning on or about October 1, 2026, and extending through approximately April 15, 2027, this role focuses on facilitating events ranging from concerts and dances to happy hours, trivia nights, luncheons, and vendor shows. The successful candidate will play an integral part in the activities department by assisting in the setup, management, and breakdown of event-related displays and decorations that enrich the resort environment.
This position demands a hands-on approach where physical stamina and adaptability are key. Responsibilities include putting up seasonal and holiday displays for both indoor and outdoor areas, ensuring the timely dismantling, inventory, and appropriate storage of these displays. The holidays involved include Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, and Memorial Day. The Activities Support Staff will also be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing any issues with displays and resort equipment, coordinating with management to ensure the availability and proper purchasing of materials, and maintaining operational flow throughout each event.
The role requires excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well as part of a team. Candidates must be capable of operating a golf cart and company truck to facilitate the transport of materials throughout the park. Job Duties
- Put up seasonal and holiday displays for indoor and outdoor areas of the resort
- disassemble, inventory, label, and store displays after each season or holiday
- check the resort daily for breakage or display problems and repair as needed
- coordinate with activities and management on timeliness of work and purchasing of materials
- assist in facilitating events such as concerts, dances, happy hours, trivia nights, luncheons, and vendor shows
- operate a golf cart and company truck for hauling materials
- work collaboratively with other staff to enhance the guest experience and support the resort brand
