Hyatt Vacation Ownership is a prominent leader in the hospitality and vacation ownership industry, renowned for delivering exceptional vacation experiences through a network of exquisite properties and resorts worldwide. The company is dedicated to providing guests with outstanding service, immersive activities, and memorable experiences tailored to suit every guest's desires and lifestyle. Hyatt Vacation Ownership focuses on creating vibrant, fun-filled environments where families and individuals can relax, explore, and engage in unique recreational opportunities. Their properties are well-known for luxurious amenities, outstanding customer service, and a welcoming atmosphere that fosters guest satisfaction and loyalty.

This particular role is centered on staffing, training, and managing the Activities and Concierge Departments within the resort. This position offers an hourly rate of $25.50, with the added benefit of a $1000 sign-on bonus split into two payments—$500 after 60 days and another $500 after 90 days of employment. The role requires availability to work 1st and 2nd shifts, including weekends and holidays, which are critical times in the hospitality industry. A valid driver's license is also mandatory for this position.

As an Activities and Concierge Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that the staff within these departments are comprehensively trained and knowledgeable about the resort's facilities, services, and daily scheduled events. This role involves overseeing multiple facets of resort operations including recreational activities, concierge services, guest engagement, and team coordination.

The manager will also oversee the coordination and implementation of a wide range of property events and activities tailored for guests of all age groups, ensuring lively and engaging experiences throughout their stay. Maintaining clear communication and teamwork among various resort departments such as kitchen, food and beverage, golf, tennis, spa, and front desk operations is a key responsibility. Solid knowledge of safety protocols, emergency procedures, and accident prevention policies is essential to guarantee the well-being of guests and staff alike.

Budget management forms a crucial part of the role as well, involving monitoring wages, departmental expenses, requisition sheets, invoices, and other financial documents to ensure operations stay within budget guidelines. The manager will also be involved in evaluating operating statements and budget worksheets to optimize resource allocation.

Human resource duties include coaching, mentoring, and developing employees, handling interpersonal conflicts, and fostering an environment that maximizes productivity and job satisfaction. Your ability to listen to employee needs and apply appropriate leadership techniques will contribute significantly to maintaining a motivated and efficient team.

Providing outstanding customer service is central to this role. You will be tasked with identifying and meeting guest needs while effectively resolving complaints and problems to uphold the resort’s reputation for excellence. The role demands dynamic interpersonal skills, conflict resolution abilities, and extensive multi-department coordination to ensure that every guest interaction at the resort is positive and memorable.

By joining Hyatt Vacation Ownership in this managerial capacity, you will play a vital part in sustaining the brand’s commitment to quality, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with a background in recreation or health club operations seeking to advance their career in a respected and growth-oriented hospitality company.
