The position available is for an Activity Coordinator who plays a vital role in planning and implementing engaging and meaningful activities tailored to the individual needs, interests, and preferences of residents. This role involves crafting programs that support the creative, physical, spiritual, social, and mental well-being of the older adults living in the communities. The Activity Coordinator is charged with organizing both group and one-on-one activities designed to enhance residents' quality of life and encourage social connection and personal growth. Responsibilities include supporting the development and evaluation of monthly life enrichment calendars, managing supplies and equipment inventory, and driving community buses for various outings and scenic rides. The role also offers opportunities to contribute to committees and supports the Director by managing administrative tasks such as timecard administration, care conferences, and budget adherence when necessary. Observing, assessing, and communicating residents' needs and responses to activities are key components of this position to ensure programs remain impactful and responsive. This role requires flexibility, a customer-oriented mindset, and a passion for enriching the lives of seniors. Physical demands include occasional lifting and moving and interactions with residents, their families, and visitors throughout the day. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years experience in recreational programming
- Colorado drivers license in good standing
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Must possess excellent customer service skills

Job Duties
- Assists in writing, designing, distributing and evaluating the monthly life enrichment calendar
- Inventories and purchases and stocks supplies and equipment as needed
- Drives the bus for scenic rides and large and small group outings
- May serve on various committees as directed
- Serves as director in director's absence
- may provide the director support in various functions such as timecard administration, care conferences, budget compliance etc
- Observes and communicates information to appropriate staff regarding residents needs, desires for, and responses to programs and activities
- Compiles data for reporting purposes and performs various clerical tasks
- Other duties as assigned
