We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and creative Life Enrichment Activities Coordinator to join our Life Enrichment department. This role is vital in enhancing the overall well-being of our residents by assisting in the planning and implementation of diverse activities that address their physical, cognitive, social, and spiritual needs. The Life Enrichment Activities Coordinator will have the opportunity to work closely with a team to organize various events such as holiday celebrations, social gatherings, community outings, and exercise programs that foster a lively and connected community.

The position offers a casual status with an hourly wage starting at $19.89, with potential for increased pay based on experience. Hours are variable, and the coordinator will have the flexibility to pick up shifts and cover scheduling gaps as needed. This flexibility is ideal for individuals who enjoy a dynamic work environment and the opportunity to make a positive impact through their creativity and interpersonal skills.

As a Life Enrichment Activities Coordinator, you will be a trusted and compassionate presence for our residents, including those living with Alzheimer’s and Dementia. Your role will involve encouraging and motivating residents, facilitating meaningful connections, and ensuring that each activity is tailored to support their unique needs. The ideal candidate will be personable, reliable, and enthusiastic, with a genuine passion for working in a geriatric setting and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • genuine interest in working with elderly residents including those with Alzheimer’s and Dementia
  • experience with social or recreational activities programs preferred
  • ability to work variable hours and pick up shifts
  • commitment to confidentiality
  • ability to maintain patient and tactful composure

Job Duties

  • assist in planning and implementing activities programs to meet residents' physical, cognitive, social, and spiritual needs
