Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in hotel or related field preferred
  • Ability to work flexible and long hours
  • Physical ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally
  • Ability to follow safety protocols
  • Good communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
  • Flexible and long hours sometimes required
  • Experience in event planning, recreational programs, hospitality services preferred
  • Heavy work - exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently and or 20 pounds of force consistently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects

Job Duties

  • Walk pool area and remove newspapers, trays, empty ash urns, remove trash and/or linens and note any areas that need immediate cleaning
  • Practice safe work habits to ensure safety to guests, fellow employees and self
  • Handle items for lost and found according to the hotel standards
  • Report maintenance issues to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction
