The role of Activities Coordinator at THesis Hotel Miami centers around enhancing guests' poolside experiences, one of the most memorable aspects of a stay at the resort. The coordinator is responsible for ensuring cleanliness, safety, and enjoyment within the pool area while engaging guests through fun and energizing activities. The Activities Coordinator works closely with housekeeping and other team members to maintain an inviting environment, including managing towel availability and organizing the pool area. Job Duties

  • Engage with guests to ensure their stay is going well
  • create activities to energize and create a fun filled experience
  • work as a team to enhance the guests experience
  • maintain an active presence around the pool area, ensuring cleanliness and guest satisfaction
  • work closely with housekeeping to ensure towels are clean and readily available
  • check in arriving guests to the pool area, helping them to identify as hotel/resort guests and to find available area for them to set-up for the day
  • clean all areas in the prescribed manner while following department standard operating procedures
  • set-up and break down the pool area to ensure a successful day
  • remove soiled linen and trash from all service areas and take to appropriate locations in the prescribed manner
  • always respond in a friendly, helpful manner to guests and other team members
