The company deeply values the principles of Excellence, Compassion, Respect, Leadership, Integrity, Safety, and Joy, which shape every aspect of its operations and team culture. As a fast-growing organization, QSL Management offers ample career advancement opportunities for team members eager to develop professionally while making a positive impact in the lives of senior adults.
One of the communities managed by QSL Management is Nouveau Marc by Barclay House, located in Kenner, Louisiana. This independent living community plays a crucial role in the company’s portfolio by offering seniors a supportive and engaging environment designed to encourage active living. QSL Management is currently seeking an Activities Coordinator for this community who demonstrates leadership, empathy, and dedication to enhancing seniors’ lives. The Activities Coordinator will be instrumental in organizing and implementing a wide range of recreational, social, fitness, and adult-learning programs tailored to the interests and capabilities of the senior residents.
The Activities Coordinator is responsible for crafting a vibrant monthly calendar of events that provides diverse socialization and recreation options every day, including weekends. These thoughtfully planned activities foster community engagement, promote wellness, and encourage joyful living among residents. Additionally, the coordinator will occasionally operate the community’s passenger vehicle to transport residents to appointments, events, or outings when a designated driver is unavailable. A key part of this role includes leading the decoration and celebration of major holidays and special occasions such as Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, July 4th, Veterans Day, Memorial Day, the December holidays, New Year’s, resident birthdays, and Valentine’s Day. The coordinator must ensure that celebrations respect and include residents with varied religious and cultural backgrounds.
QSL Management offers a competitive wage and an excellent benefits package. The company also fosters a supportive work environment where employees feel valued and can thrive while making a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults. This position is ideal for compassionate leaders passionate about serving others and promoting community wellness. Candidates with relevant experience in activity planning and coordination within senior living or comparable settings will find rewarding career opportunities and a chance to contribute to an organization that values its employees and residents alike.
