Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CPR and First Aid certification
- minimum 2 years experience organizing recreational activities
- excellent communication skills
- ability to work independently and in a team
- strong organizational and time management skills
- knowledge of activity planning principles
- willingness to work evenings and weekends
- ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds
- willingness to undergo a background check
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CPR and First Aid certification
- at least 2 years of proven experience in organizing and implementing recreational activities
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- strong organizational and time management abilities
- knowledge of principles and practices of activity planning and delivery
Job Duties
- Collaborate with staff to create a calendar of activities and events
- coordinate and lead various recreational and educational activities for participants
- ensure all activities are inclusive and accessible to all individuals
- maintain records of participation and feedback to improve future activities
- manage resources and supplies needed for activities and events
- communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff regarding upcoming activities
- evaluate the success of activities and make recommendations for improvements
