The Activities Coordinator (Salus Coordinator) role at Fox Ridge Bryant is designed for compassionate and energetic individuals passionate about enriching the lives of seniors. The Salus Coordinator is a vital member of the wellness team, responsible for leading person-centered wellness programs that align with the community's Salus philosophy. This holistic approach to senior care supports residents physically, mentally, and spiritually, promoting overall well-being and joy. The position involves designing and delivering a diversified range of individual and group activities tailored to engage residents in cultural, spiritual, physical, political, social, and intellectual pursuits. The coordinator works collaboratively with residents and staff to foster social interaction, stimulate intellectual curiosity, and encourage active participation in community life.

Working Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends as needed, the Activities Coordinator fosters an atmosphere that supports residents' potential and sense of usefulness to themselves and others. They assist the Salus Lifestyle Coach in planning and facilitating activities, coordinating with other program associates to deliver joint programs, and training volunteers to support events. Key responsibilities include organizing special events, holiday celebrations, weekly excursions, and family functions while ensuring outstanding service to residents, families, and visitors. The coordinator may also assist with transportation for outings, requiring a valid state driver’s license and adherence to community driver policies.

Beyond program coordination, the role requires flexibility, excellent organizational skills, and a cheerful, mature personality.
