Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience working with seniors or in a caregiving or activities role preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members
  • Must have an active driver's license in good standing
  • Ability to engage residents using creative and compassionate approaches
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
  • Must comply with company policies and safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • You quickly connect with people and love to learn about them
  • You have talents such as singing, dancing, art, poetry, history, or trivia expertise to enrich programming
  • You possess a positive attitude and a passion for helping others
  • You hold an active driver's license in good standing

Job Duties

  • Get to know the residents of Brightview to help with planning and implementing spiritual, physical, intellectual, cultural and emotional programming that engages and fulfills residents
  • Participate in activities such as games, painting, singing, and music to organize and run events
  • Encourage residents to participate in activities and programs
  • Use social media, email, and newsletters to showcase daily activities and events
  • Assist in creating meaningful experiences that support cognitive and emotional health
  • Collaborate with the care team to tailor activities to residents’ individual needs
  • Provide a welcoming and supportive environment during activities
