Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with seniors or in a caregiving or activities role preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members
- Must have an active driver's license in good standing
- Ability to engage residents using creative and compassionate approaches
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Must comply with company policies and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- You quickly connect with people and love to learn about them
- You have talents such as singing, dancing, art, poetry, history, or trivia expertise to enrich programming
- You possess a positive attitude and a passion for helping others
- You hold an active driver's license in good standing
Job Duties
- Get to know the residents of Brightview to help with planning and implementing spiritual, physical, intellectual, cultural and emotional programming that engages and fulfills residents
- Participate in activities such as games, painting, singing, and music to organize and run events
- Encourage residents to participate in activities and programs
- Use social media, email, and newsletters to showcase daily activities and events
- Assist in creating meaningful experiences that support cognitive and emotional health
- Collaborate with the care team to tailor activities to residents’ individual needs
- Provide a welcoming and supportive environment during activities
