The role of Activity Assistant at Village at Gleannloch Farms is vital in enriching the daily lives of residents, particularly those enrolled in memory care programs. This position entails leading and coordinating activities that are thoughtfully designed to cater to the physical, mental, and social well-being of a diverse senior population. As the Activity Assistant, you will work alongside the Director to plan, schedule, and execute a variety of engaging programs, including special events aligned with the community's Life Enrichment initiatives such as Lifestyles and Health Services, Embrace the World, Ambassador, and the Heartfelt Connections Memory Care Program.

Your responsibilities will involve promoting a healthy and inclusive community culture, fostering meaningful interactions among residents and staff. You will provide both individual and group educational opportunities aimed at disease prevention and health management, embracing a holistic wellness approach. Leading daily activities per community standards and assisting in the preparation and distribution of monthly activity calendars are key components of the role. The Activity Assistant will also tailor programs to meet the varying needs of residents, from those newly retired seeking an active lifestyle to seniors requiring physical assistance or experiencing different stages of memory loss.

This role is a weekend position, with shifts every Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., offering a starting pay rate of $13.50 per hour, dependent upon experience.
