This particular opportunity is with The Palisades at Paradise Valley Mall, a well-established residential community located at 13440 N 44th Street, Phoenix, AZ 85032. The property features 536 apartment units and offers residents a blend of comfort, convenience, and community-oriented living. Known for its excellent location and proximity to shopping and entertainment options, The Palisades at Paradise Valley Mall seeks to enhance the resident experience through engaging activities and thoughtful event planning.

The role available is for an Activities and Event Coordinator, a position integral to fostering a vibrant community atmosphere. The coordinator will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing monthly resident events tailored to the property's unique demographics and lifestyle preferences. This role requires flexibility in scheduling, as events often occur during evenings and weekends to maximize resident participation. The compensation for this part-time position includes a rent credit for 20 hours worked per week, with no additional benefits offered. The work schedule is designed to be flexible to meet the mutual needs of the employee and management.

As an Activities and Event Coordinator, key duties include coordinating social, themed, and recreational events such as fitness, games, and sports activities that encourage resident engagement and community building. The individual will also supervise these activities, create a welcoming environment, and interact directly with residents during events to foster a strong sense of community. An important aspect of the role includes maintaining accurate records of event participation and managing related reporting requirements. The coordinator will operate under the direction of the Apartment Manager and must adhere to all company policies relevant to the position.

Experience in event planning, hospitality, customer service, or related fields is preferred, alongside the ability to manage an event budget, track expenses, and comply with company guidelines for financial reporting. Importantly, this position emphasizes community-building over private remuneration; therefore, the Activities and Event Coordinator cannot use on-site facilities for private gain.
