This job opportunity is with a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee affiliated with McDonald's. This franchisee operates under a license that allows the use of McDonald's logos and food products, but it is distinctly a separate company from McDonald's USA. Therefore, if you are hired for this position, your employer will be this franchisee rather than McDonald's USA. The franchisee exclusively manages all employment aspects, including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling. McDonald’s USA does not participate in any employment decisions or receive your employment application.

The restaurant itself is part of the globally recognized McDonald’s family, renowned for its focus on quality, service, and cleanliness. However, this role involves direct engagement with the franchisee's management team and aligns closely with McDonald's standards to deliver a superior customer experience. The franchise operates as a quick-service restaurant, offering a fast-paced environment and opportunities for growth.

The General Manager position is a senior leadership role essential to the restaurant’s success. The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable operation while ensuring that the highest standards of quality, service, and cleanliness are consistently met. This position requires driving team performance and operational excellence by setting ambitious goals and creating actionable plans to achieve these objectives. You will work closely with your leader to align restaurant goals with the broader franchise business strategy.

The General Manager leads a team of Department Managers, each overseeing specific operational areas within the restaurant. This role involves providing guidance, coaching, and performance management to elevate individual departments and the overall restaurant operation. Supporting the growth and development of Department and Shift Managers to build a strong leadership pipeline is also part of the role. The General Manager's leadership directly impacts team morale, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates for this role have previous experience managing high-volume quick-service restaurants or relevant experience in the hospitality or retail industries. Age requirements specify that applicants must be 18 years or older to qualify for managerial positions in corporate-owned or franchised McDonald’s locations.

Job Requirements
