This job opportunity is with a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee affiliated with McDonald's. This franchisee operates under a license that allows the use of McDonald's logos and food products, but it is distinctly a separate company from McDonald's USA. Therefore, if you are hired for this position, your employer will be this franchisee rather than McDonald's USA. The franchisee exclusively manages all employment aspects, including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling. Job Requirements
- must be 18 years or older
- previous managerial experience in a restaurant or retail setting
- strong leadership capabilities
- excellent communication skills
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- commitment to upholding customer quality and safety standards
- capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously
Job Qualifications
- previous general manager experience in high volume restaurants
- experience in quick service restaurants preferred
- background in hospitality or retail is a plus
- effective leadership and team management skills
- strong communication and organizational abilities
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- aged 18 years or older
Job Duties
- run a profitable restaurant to meet McDonald’s customer standards of quality, service, and cleanliness
- set restaurant goals with leadership and develop plans to achieve them
- lead and coach a team of Department Managers to improve department performance
- hire and develop Department and Shift Managers for future leadership
- oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with franchise policies
- monitor restaurant financial performance and control costs
- maintain a safe and clean restaurant environment
