This position offers a fantastic opportunity to join AerSale as an aircraft maintenance professional within a Repair Station setting. The role is ideal for those aspiring to elevate their skills in aviation maintenance while following a structured training path under the guidance of designated trainers. Essential to the position is adherence to FAA approved data to carry out maintenance and repair tasks to ensure aircraft airworthiness and operational safety. Employees are expected to rigorously document their work and maintain a clean, organized working environment that meets the standards of the Repair Station. The role involves daily engagement with on-the-job training forms which need to be submitted to the training department, with a clear goal of acquiring the trade’s certification including Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification upon completion of the required training hours.

The job requires mechanical aptitude, critical thinking, and organizational skills to effectively manage the assigned tasks while contributing to the overall maintenance standards required by AerSale. Physical activities such as bending, squatting, standing, crawling, and maneuvering in confined spaces are part of the daily routine, including occasional lifting or carrying of materials up to 50 pounds. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • prior aircraft maintenance experience is required, including military experience or experience from other countries with approved letter from the aviation authority
  • mechanical skills and abilities
  • critical thinking and organized
  • physically able to bend, squat, sit, stand, walk, crawl, work in tight spaces and handle objects
  • occasionally able to push, pull, stack, reach above shoulder level or carry lightweight materials up to 50 lbs

Job Duties

  • Follow directions from trainer or designated trainer in regards on the job tasks
  • perform all work assigned in accordance with approved FAA data
  • ensure complete and proper documentation of work performed
  • ensure that all maintenance performed is in an airworthy condition
  • maintain the premises of the Repair Station in a clean and organized manner
  • complete on-the-job training forms and submit them to the training department daily
  • obtain A&P certification once the required amount of on-the-job training has been fulfilled
  • perform additional duties as requested by immediate supervisor or other management personnel
