Job Description
Our client is a prestigious private country club located in West Palm Beach, FL, renowned for delivering an exceptional and exclusive member experience within a supportive and professional environment. Established with a commitment to excellence and distinguished by its leadership, this organization prides itself on fostering a culture rooted in quality service, tradition, and a forward-thinking mindset. The club is a prominent fixture in the community, balancing a rich heritage with a modern business approach and a passion for superior member engagement. Employing a dedicated team, the club stands out for its stable and service-driven atmosphere that attracts professionals who seek meaningful and impactful careers in hospitality and club management.
We are currently seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join this esteemed private club's leadership team. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead the financial operations of an organization where accuracy, integrity, and strategic financial planning are vital to sustaining the club's continued success. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing all accounting functions, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and financial reporting. This position is not purely administrative; it demands a hands-on professional who enjoys ownership over their work and thrives in a collaborative environment. Moreover, the manager will work closely with senior executives and the Board of Directors to support long-term financial planning and strategic initiatives.
The position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $135,000 annually, depending on experience, along with a chance to step into a highly visible leadership role where your expertise and decision-making will directly impact the club’s fiscal well-being. You will also oversee budgeting processes, forecasting, cash flow monitoring, compliance with GAAP and tax regulations, and coordinate the annual audit process. Mentoring and developing a team of accounting professionals is an essential aspect of this role, as is enhancing financial systems and improving reporting tools to drive efficiency and transparency. This role is ideal for those who have a strong background in accounting within hospitality or similar service-oriented sectors and who are motivated by combining hands-on financial management with strategic foresight in a respected and service-focused institution. If you are searching for a challenging yet rewarding leadership opportunity where your skills will be valued and utilized to the fullest extent, this role at a top-tier private club in West Palm Beach offers an excellent career advancement platform.
