Job Requirements
- Based in the Chicago Metro Area
- Minimum five years of professional experience
- Minimum three years of relevant hotel group sales or operations experience
- In-depth knowledge of hospitality industry
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 35 percent of the time
Job Qualifications
- Minimum five years of professional experience
- Three years of hotel group sales or operations experience in full-service hotels of 500+ rooms, above-property group sales experience, or experience in sourcing/operating customer events of 500+ people
- In-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry
- Ability to travel up to 35 percent of the time
- Previous experience in national sales preferred
- Proficiency with Salesforce software preferred
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) preferred
Job Duties
- Manage a roster of over 100 group sales accounts across Illinois, Wisconsin, and Kentucky
- Handle group sales leads for Hilton’s US-based hotels including coordination with partners for international and luxury leads
- Build and execute strategic account plans to grow market share
- Adhere to Hilton’s account governance and value selling protocols
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, hotel partners, and sales colleagues
- Conduct sales calls, site visits, and participate in industry events for increased visibility and engagement
- Ensure revenue targets are met while supporting customers and hotel partners throughout the sales process
