Job Requirements

  • Based in the Chicago Metro Area
  • Minimum five years of professional experience
  • Minimum three years of relevant hotel group sales or operations experience
  • In-depth knowledge of hospitality industry
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 35 percent of the time

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum five years of professional experience
  • Three years of hotel group sales or operations experience in full-service hotels of 500+ rooms, above-property group sales experience, or experience in sourcing/operating customer events of 500+ people
  • In-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry
  • Ability to travel up to 35 percent of the time
  • Previous experience in national sales preferred
  • Proficiency with Salesforce software preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) preferred

Job Duties

  • Manage a roster of over 100 group sales accounts across Illinois, Wisconsin, and Kentucky
  • Handle group sales leads for Hilton’s US-based hotels including coordination with partners for international and luxury leads
  • Build and execute strategic account plans to grow market share
  • Adhere to Hilton’s account governance and value selling protocols
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, hotel partners, and sales colleagues
  • Conduct sales calls, site visits, and participate in industry events for increased visibility and engagement
  • Ensure revenue targets are met while supporting customers and hotel partners throughout the sales process
