Job Description

The Sacramento Kings are a professional basketball team based in Sacramento, California, competing in the National Basketball Association (NBA). The Kings operate out of the Golden 1 Center, a state-of-the-art arena that hosts not only basketball games but a wide array of events and concerts, making it a hub of activity in Sacramento. The team is dedicated to creating memorable experiences for their fans and premium members through exceptional service and innovative hospitality offerings. \n\nThe Account Manager for Premium Sales and Corporate Hospitality plays a crucial role within the Premium Sales department, reporting directly to the Director of Suite Sales and Premium Service. This full-time, non-exempt position is based in Sacramento, CA, and offers a competitive base salary of $45,000 annually with substantial earning potential through commissions and bonuses, potentially reaching between $90,000 and $110,000 in the first year. This role is tailored for a dynamic individual who excels in both revenue generation and client relationship management within the realm of luxury sports entertainment. \n\nThe primary responsibility of the Account Manager is to serve as the main liaison for lease holders of Premium offerings, including Suites, Lofts, and the Club by Red Hawk Casino. This role demands a white-glove service approach, ensuring that clients not only receive exceptional customer care but also fully benefit from the exclusive amenities and contracted obligations of their leases. The Account Manager is charged with growing and maintaining these relationships, driving retention and upsales, and consistently meeting ambitious monthly and annual revenue targets. \n\nIn addition to sales, the role involves executing high-volume prospecting tactics such as outbound calls, networking, and in-person meetings, alongside coordinating premium service elements like event access, gifting, concierge services, and exclusive experiences. The Account Manager also acts as Manager on Duty for select games and events, overseeing Premium Ambassador staff and collaborating with Arena Operations to ensure smooth service delivery. Representing the Kings and Golden 1 Center at all relevant events, this individual upholds the organization’s ethos of "Everybody Sells and Everybody Services," emphasizing an ownership mindset toward both service and sales functions. Regular, consistent communication and collaboration with internal teams are vital, embodying the belief that success is a collective effort. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sports management, hospitality, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in a client-facing or account management role
  • proven ability to deliver high-end customer service and generate revenue
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to manage multiple priorities and work non-traditional hours
  • passion for sports and entertainment
  • experience with Salesforce and Archtics ticketing is a plus

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sports management, hospitality, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in a client-facing or account management role, preferably in sports, entertainment, or luxury hospitality
  • proven track record of delivering high-end customer service and generating revenue through both new business and relationship-based sales
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills—both written and verbal
  • ability to manage multiple priorities and work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • passion for sports and entertainment with a strong understanding of the value of premium membership experiences
  • experience with Salesforce and Archtics ticketing is a plus

Job Duties

  • Serve as the main point of contact for assigned Suite, Loft, and Club by Red Hawk Casino lease holders
  • relationship growth and maintenance
  • proactive service and communication

  • meet and exceed monthly and annual new business revenue goals
  • execute a consistent, high-volume prospecting strategy including outbound calls, emails, networking, referrals, and in-person meetings
  • coordinate premium service elements such as event access, hospitality, gifting, concierge services, onboarding, exclusive experiences and activations
  • act as manager on duty for the Suite and Loft Levels for select Kings games and Golden 1 Center events
  • oversee the Premium Ambassador staff
  • liaison between the Premium Department and Arena Operations
  • represent the Kings and Golden 1 Center during home games, arena events, and Premium Member events
  • deliver world-class service aligned with the "Everybody Sells and Everybody Services" mindset
  • schedule and conduct regular face-to-face, phone, and virtual check-ins to drive engagement, retention, and sales opportunities
  • collaborate closely with teammates and departments across the organization
