Job Requirements
- High school diploma and/or GED required
- 2 plus years’ experience in culinary, restaurant operations, foodservice or related field preferred
- Valid driver license
- Must be flexible with work schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to regularly lift and move up to 40 pounds
- Ability to frequently lift and move up to 60 pounds
- Reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma and/or GED required
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree a plus
- 2 plus years’ experience in culinary, restaurant operations, foodservice, or related experience preferred
- Previous successful sales experience a plus
- Current driver license
- Demonstrated expertise in problem solving
- Comfort using technology and analyzing customer data
- Knowledgeable on industry trends
- Expertise in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Must be flexible and willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Job Duties
- Prospect new customers and build a territory to grow the customer base
- Maintain current customer base and grow the share of the customer's business
- Support customer menu engineering
- Support food cost analysis to ensure waste reduction and improve customer profitability
- Consume and share market intelligence and industry trends
- Conduct product demonstrations and comparisons by taking sample products to customer's restaurant or facility
- Facilitate demonstrations of capabilities to support the customer
- Share new product innovation through utilization of Shamrock resources
- Build multi-level relationships in the businesses served
- Keep accounts current by optimizing sales, service, delivery and collecting past-due balances
- Leverage technology for improved customer efficiency and experience enhancements
- Participate in ongoing training for continuous skill development
- Perform other duties as assigned
