Job Description

Shamrock Foods Company is a privately-held, family-owned and operated Forbes 500 company that has been an innovator in the food industry since its founding in Arizona in 1922. Known for putting people first, Shamrock values its associates, customers, and the families they serve across the nation. The company’s mission echoes the founding family’s motto to "treat associates like family and customers like friends." Shamrock Foods provides a supportive work environment with substantial benefits, growth opportunities, and a commitment to maintaining a healthy work-life balance for their employees.

The Account Executive role at Shamrock Foods Company is a commission-based sales position aimed at maximizing sales growth profitably within a designated territory focused on restaurants, resorts, hotels, and other institutional establishments. This position requires regular face-to-face interaction with clients to represent and promote Shamrock’s extensive range of food products and services. Bilingual English-Spanish language skills are preferred, enabling effective communication with a diverse customer base.

This role is designed for energetic and articulate individuals who excel in building and maintaining strong customer relationships, prospecting new clients, and growing existing accounts by increasing the share of customers’ business. The Account Executive will directly impact customer success through menu engineering support, food cost analysis, product demonstrations, and sharing market intelligence and industry trends. This includes facilitating product sampling and illustrating Shamrock’s capabilities to customers to demonstrate how the company can support their business goals.

In addition to sales duties, the Account Executive will leverage technology to enhance customer efficiency and improve the overall customer experience. Participation in ongoing training ensures continuous professional development and keeps skills sharp in a rapidly changing foodservice market. This position also involves managing account details such as sales optimization, service, delivery, and timely collection of past-due balances.

Physical demands include the ability to lift and move up to 60 pounds regularly, with accommodations made for individuals with disabilities. The position’s work schedule may require flexibility, including working evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet departmental demands.

Starting compensation for this role ranges from $40,000 to $100,000 per year based on achievement of performance goals, with an eventual transition to a commission-based earnings structure. The company anticipates closing the application window for this opportunity on or before December 31, 2026.

Shamrock Foods Company is committed to equal employment opportunity, ensuring all qualified applicants receive consideration without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other legally protected basis. The company is also compliant with all federal employment laws and provides a safe and inclusive work environment for all employees.
