The Account Executive role at Workwear Outfitters is a critical position responsible for managing and growing the Terra Safety Footwear and Liberty Bib Wholesale Apparel businesses within the Midwest territory. This position specifically targets Industrial Distributors, Safety Footwear Retailers, and Key Farm Channel Accounts to drive sustainable and profitable growth. The Account Executive is expected to cultivate strong, enduring relationships through strategic account development and data-driven execution. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to influence sales performance by leveraging data insights and collaborating closely with marketing efforts.

The Account Executive will own and proactively manage key accounts, leading product launches, assortment growth initiatives, and expanding distribution channels through effective relationship management and sales strategies. Success in this role will be demonstrated by achieving or surpassing assigned sales targets and supporting forecasting efforts to optimize inventory management. Attendance and representation at trade shows and industry events aligned with the sales strategy are also essential aspects of the role. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in sales or business
  • Minimum 3 years of wholesale apparel or safety footwear sales experience
  • Proven ability to manage multi-location accounts
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to travel within assigned territory frequently
  • Proficiency in using sales and data analysis tools
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Job Qualifications

  • Proven wholesale Apparel and Safety Footwear experience
  • Prior experience managing Key Farm Channel accounts and/or Industrial Retailer/Distributor relationships
  • Demonstrated success managing a large sales territory for multiple brands
  • Effective scheduling of in-person customer visits, virtual meetings and trade show participation
  • Track record of generating consistent daily and weekly order activity
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to analyze POS data and translate insights into growth strategies

Job Duties

  • Own and manage Terra Safety Footwear and Liberty Bib Wholesale Apparel business in assigned territory
  • Lead and develop Key Farm Channel Accounts and top field Liberty accounts in the territory
  • Maintain current relationships and grow Key Farm Channels
  • Identify and open new Key Farm Channel Accounts to drive growth
  • Own Terra safety footwear retailers and distributor relationships
  • Analyze POS data to identify sales trends and optimize inventory management
  • Lead product launches, door expansions and assortment growth initiatives
  • Provide monthly forecast by brand to assist planning and inventory management
  • Collaborate with marketing team on customer-specific campaigns and in-store merchandising
  • Represent the brands at trade shows and industry events
  • Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets for each brand
