The role of Account Executive – Customer Development at Gallo offers a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team responsible for driving profitable growth across assigned customer accounts. This full-time position carries a competitive compensation range between $113,400 and $170,200 and focuses on representing one of the most recognized portfolios in the wine and spirits industry. The role is centered on cultivating strong relationships with customers, distributor partners, and internal stakeholders to identify growth opportunities, develop strategic plans, and execute initiatives that enhance business outcomes for both Gallo’s brands and customer partners.

Account Executives at Gallo leverage market insights, sales performance data, and emerging category trends to design and implement business strategies that expand distribution, bolster execution, and maximize growth potential across multiple channels including brick-and-mortar retail, e-commerce platforms, and digital marketplaces. This role demands collaboration with customers and cross-functional teams to formulate joint business plans, influence key decision-making processes, and secure new item placements, thereby reinforcing Gallo’s leadership within the category.

Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree plus 3 years of E. & J. Gallo Winery sales or distributor sales experience or bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of CPG sales or account management or retail sales experience
  • high school diploma or state-issued equivalency plus 7 years of E. & J. Gallo Winery or distributor sales experience
  • valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
  • must be 21 years or older
  • required to obtain liquor license as per state/local requirements
  • ability to travel by air and automobile up to 50%
  • occasional travel up to 5% for onboarding, training, meetings, and events
  • must be 18 years or older

Job Qualifications

  • bachelor's degree plus 3 years of relevant sales experience or bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of CPG sales or account management experience
  • high school diploma plus 7 years of relevant sales experience
  • valid driver's license with a safe driving record
  • candidate must be 21 years or older
  • experience in communication, project management, and analysis
  • skilled in completing broad assignments requiring originality and ingenuity
