Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years relevant business experience in medical sales pharmaceutical biotechnology or healthcare
- Valid driver’s license issued in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years relevant business experience in medical sales pharmaceutical biotechnology or healthcare with exceptional sales achievements
- Valid driver’s license in the United States
- Ability to target accounts and develop daily action plans
- Experience collaborating with peers marketing strategic account managers and external companies
- Strong time management and planning skills
- Hospital based pharmaceutical or medical device sales experience
- Experience developing new and innovative markets
- Excellent interpersonal communication and negotiation skills
- Team oriented
Job Duties
- Own the full bag of Ethicon surgical devices and solutions including hemostasis energy sealing and dissection surgical stapling and wound closure platforms
- Focus on growing energy and endomechanical platforms
- Sell surgical solutions to surgeons and hospital decision makers primarily in an operating room setting
- Manage assigned sales territory focusing on physicians and hospital institutions
- Attain forecasted sales goals within assigned territory
- Set priorities and make business decisions based on understanding sales opportunities
- Demonstrate proper product use to clinicians in operating rooms
- Manage customer questions and objections consistent with product indications and sales training
- Execute sales cycle in a concise professional ethical and compliant manner leading customers to action
- Conduct sales presentations using current selling methods
- Analyze market data and plan business strategy
- Build customer relations with physicians hospital personnel and distributors
