The current opportunity is for the position of Account Executive - Advanced Hemostasis and Healing (AHH) within Ethicon, a division of Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices Companies. Ethicon has been a pioneer in surgical technology for over 60 years, revolutionizing surgery through innovative products such as sutures, staplers, energy devices, and wound closure technologies. The Account Executive role is based in Las Vegas, Nevada, and is deeply embedded in the MedTech sales function, focusing primarily on clinical sales within hospital settings.
This role offers the unique chance to contribute to the evolution of surgical care by delivering advanced surgical devices and solutions that improve patient outcomes. The incumbent will own a comprehensive portfolio of Ethicon's surgical products including hemostasis devices, energy sealing and dissection tools, surgical stapling, and wound closure platforms. The primary goal is to grow the hemostasis and wound closure business by collaborating closely with surgeons, hospital decision-makers, and other healthcare professionals in operating room environments.
As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing a designated sales territory with an assigned set of physicians and hospital institutions. Success in this position requires a deep understanding of surgical technologies, the ability to effectively communicate product benefits and clinical value, and a commitment to ethical sales practices within healthcare compliance guidelines.
Additional responsibilities include educating clinical teams on proper product use, managing customer questions and objections, conducting engaging product demonstrations, and building strong, lasting relationships with key stakeholders including surgeons and hospital staff. This is a professional role designed for candidates passionate about advancing healthcare technology and improving surgical treatment options.
The position offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 to $120,000 with eligibility for a comprehensive sales incentive compensation program. A company car is provided through Johnson & Johnson's fleet program, supporting travel requirements within the sales territory. The company also offers extensive employee benefits, reflecting its commitment to employee well-being and development.
