The company is currently seeking an Account Executive who will play a key role in driving sales growth through profitable strategies. This position operates on a commission basis, rewarding performance. The ideal candidate will primarily engage with restaurants, resorts, hotels, and other institutional establishments, representing Shamrock Foods products and services through direct, face-to-face interactions. This role requires a passionate individual with the ability to prospect new customers, maintain existing accounts, and broaden the business footprint within their territory.
An Account Executive will be responsible for delivering value and helping customers succeed by supporting various operational elements such as menu engineering, food cost analysis, and providing strategic insights on market intelligence and industry trends. The role also involves product demonstrations and facilitating customer-centric solutions that showcase Shamrock Foods’ capabilities.
The company regards bilingual skills in English and Spanish as a preferred but not mandatory qualification, recognizing the diverse client base they serve. Job Requirements
- HS diploma and/or GED
- 2 plus years experience in culinary, restaurant operations, or foodservice preferred
- Previous successful sales experience a plus
- Current driver license
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills
- Comfort with technology and customer data analysis
- Knowledge of industry trends
- Expertise in Microsoft Office applications
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- English/Spanish bilingual preferred but not required
Job Qualifications
- HS Diploma and/or GED required
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree a plus
- 2 plus years experience in culinary, restaurant operations, foodservice, or related experience preferred
- Previous successful sales experience a plus
- Current driver license
- Demonstrated expertise in problem solving
- Comfort using technology and analyzing customer data
- Knowledgeable on industry trends
- Expertise in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- English/Spanish bilingual preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Prospect new customers and build a territory to grow the customer base
- Maintain current customer base and grow the share of the customer's business
- Support customer menu engineering
- Support food cost analysis to ensure waste reduction and improve customer profitability
- Consume and share market intelligence and industry trends
- Conduct product demonstrations and comparisons by taking sample product to customer's restaurant or facility
- Facilitate demonstrations of capabilities to support the customer
- Share new product innovation using Shamrock resources
- Build multi-level relationships in the businesses served
- Keep accounts current by optimizing sales, service, and delivery and collecting past-due balances
- Leverage technology for improved customer efficiency and drive customer experience enhancements
- Participate in ongoing training to continuously develop skills
- Perform other duties as assigned
