The Account Executive role at Live Events plays a critical part in expanding the company’s footprint in the live event production industry. This full-time position focuses primarily on business development and sales within the realms of audio, lighting, video, LED solutions, and full-scale production services. The Account Executive is tasked with identifying new business opportunities, qualifying leads, and closing deals that contribute significantly to the company's revenue growth. This role requires an individual with a proactive, consultative sales approach, often described as having a 'hunter mentality,' coupled with solid knowledge of event production technologies.

As the frontline sales representative, the Account Executive manages the entire sales process. From initial outreach and prospecting to preparing and presenting compelling proposals, negotiating terms, and ultimately driving contracts to execution, this position is dynamic and fast-paced. Beyond sales, the Account Executive works closely with the operations teams to ensure smooth project transitions, making sure client expectations are fully met through flawless production delivery.

  • 5 plus years of experience in at least one of the sound, lighting, or video industries

Job Duties

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities
  • strategically grow existing client relationships
  • build and manage the full sales funnel process
  • research prospective customers using available tools and resources
  • meet quarterly and annual sales targets
  • foster strong relationships with clients and prospective clients in the market
  • build relationships through networking events, online meetings, and social media engagement
  • prepare responses to RFPs in collaboration with Project Management and Technical Product Managers
  • read and comprehend contract scopes, terms, and conditions
  • plan and estimate event costs and margins in alignment with company guidelines and in consultation with management
  • enter and maintain accurate CRM data for customers, leads, and opportunities
  • interpret financial information and support reporting needs
