Job Requirements
- High school diploma and/or GED required
- Must have 2 plus years' experience in culinary, restaurant operations, or foodservice
- Previous sales experience is preferred
- Must hold a current driver license
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills
- Be comfortable with technology and data analysis
- Stay knowledgeable on industry trends
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Must be flexible to work varying hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
- English-Spanish bilingual language skills preferred
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma and/or GED required
- Associate or Bachelor's degree a plus
- 2 plus years' experience in culinary, restaurant operations, foodservice, or related experience preferred
- Previous successful sales experience a plus
- Current driver license required
- Demonstrated expertise in problem solving
- Comfortable using technology and analyzing customer data
- Knowledgeable on industry trends
- Expertise in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Must be flexible and willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- English-Spanish bilingual language skills preferred
Job Duties
- Prospect new customers and build a territory to grow the customer base
- Maintain current customer base and grow the share of the customer's business
- Support customer success through menu engineering and food cost analysis
- Consume and share market intelligence and industry trends
- Conduct product demonstrations and comparisons by delivering sample products to customer locations
- Facilitate demonstrations of company capabilities to support customers
- Share new product innovations through utilization of Shamrock resources
- Build multi-level relationships in the businesses you serve
- Keep accounts current by optimizing sales, service, and delivery and collecting past-due balances
- Leverage technology to improve customer efficiency and enhance the customer experience
- Participate in ongoing training to continuously develop skills
- Perform other duties as assigned
