With nearly a century of experience, Shamrock Foods is deeply committed to its associates, customers, and the families it serves nationwide. The company's enduring mission is to "treat associates like family and customers like friends," reflecting a culture grounded in respect, integrity, and community. Shamrock Foods prioritizes a supportive work environment and offers substantial benefits to its team members, including health insurance, 401(k) savings plans, profit sharing, paid time off, wellness programs, opportunities for continued education, and significant growth possibilities. This commitment underscores Shamrock's recognition that investing in people is key to its long-lasting success.
The role of Account Executive at Shamrock Foods Company is a critical position focused on driving profitable sales growth through building and maintaining strong customer relationships in the foodservice sector. The Account Executive is charged with representing Shamrock’s diverse portfolio of products and services to a broad range of institutional clients including restaurants, resorts, hotels, and other foodservice establishments. Operating primarily on a commission basis, this role demands a proactive and customer-focused sales approach with a strategic mindset to grow market presence.
This position emphasizes face-to-face interactions to prospect and expand the customer base, maintain existing accounts, and increase business share by delivering comprehensive support and solutions. Essential to the role is the ability to understand and support customer needs, including menu engineering, food cost analysis, and waste reduction strategies that improve profitability for clients. The Account Executive acts as a trusted advisor, delivering product demonstrations and sharing market intelligence and industry trends that benefit customer operations.
Further responsibilities involve facilitating multi-level business relationships, ensuring accounts are up to date, optimizing sales processes, service, delivery, and managing financial collections. Candidates are expected to utilize technology effectively to enhance customer efficiency and experiences. Continuous professional development through ongoing training is also a key component of this role to keep skills sharp and adapt to an evolving marketplace.
Applicants with bilingual English-Spanish skills are preferred given the diverse customer base, enhancing communication and service delivery. This role may require flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, aligned with business demands. Physical demands include the ability to reasonably lift and move weights up to 60 pounds.
Starting compensation ranges from $40,000 to $100,000 per year based on performance targets, with an eventual transition to commission-based pay. Shamrock anticipates closing applications for this opportunity on or before December 31, 2026. This is an excellent chance for driven sales professionals who thrive in dynamic, customer-centric environments and seek to grow with a reputable, growth-oriented food industry leader.
