The role available is Senior Account Director based in Texas, preferably in the Houston area. This leadership position is vital in fostering and growing major client relationships at the executive level, driving strategic initiatives, and securing new business opportunities to expand the footprint of BairesDev within the IT industry. The selected candidate will leverage deep business insight to understand and anticipate client needs, formulate robust account plans, and collaborate extensively across teams such as staffing, sales, and business development to optimize performance and deliver exceptional results.
Ideal candidates will possess extensive experience in sales and client engagement within the IT/Tech industry, ideally with 8 or more years in roles such as sales executive, client partner, or engagement manager. A background in software engineering or a related IT field is highly advantageous, providing an enhanced perspective that complements the role’s strategic requirements. Specialization in industries like oil and gas (energy) or SaaS will be considered a strong asset, reflecting the company's diverse and wide-ranging client base.

Job Requirements
- Must be based in Texas, preferably in the Houston area
- 8+ years of experience in sales, client engagement, or related roles in the IT/Tech industry
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
- Experience with account planning and market research
- Willingness to work remotely and collaborate with global teams
- Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or related field preferred
Job Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in sales executive, client partner, or engagement manager roles or equivalent in the IT/Tech industry
- Experience in customer relationship management with closing deals and developing long-term relationships with clients
- Previous experience as a software engineer (computer science, software engineering, or another IT-related degree) is a big plus
- Focused on the following industries: oil and gas (energy), or SaaS, is a great asset
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proven track record in business development and strategic account management
Job Duties
- Build long-term trusting relationships with clients and present our company to potential or referred clients through meetings, listening to their wishes and concerns
- Create account plans and report on revenue or headcount growth results to the global account manager or account directors on a regular basis
- Conduct market research to identify upselling opportunities and assess customer needs, identify client needs, and prepare and deliver presentations on appropriate services
- Proactively seek new opportunities through client referrals, networking, and social media
- Bring new business leads to increase revenue, negotiate, and close deals
- Collaborate with other internal teams (staffing, sales, business development) to achieve better results
- Drive strategic growth initiatives and manage key client account relationships
