Loyola Medicine is currently seeking a visionary leader to serve as the Chief of Cardiology for its regional cardiology service line that spans its comprehensive health system. This leadership role represents an exciting opportunity for a highly accomplished cardiology physician to impact the future of cardiovascular care at Loyola Medicine. The Chief of Cardiology will lead and oversee a complex cardiology service line that covers three high-volume hospital facilities, collaborating closely with an experienced operational team to advance clinical growth, optimize service delivery, and further the academic mission. This position requires balancing clinical excellence with strategic leadership to enhance operations, strengthen culture, and develop innovative programmatic initiatives.

As Chief of Cardiology, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving clinical expansion, fostering multidisciplinary collaboration, and supporting research and educational programs within the cardiology division. In addition, the Chief will co-lead the broader Cardiovascular Service Line, which includes cardiology, vascular, and cardiothoracic services, ensuring coordinated efforts that optimize patient outcomes and operational efficiency. The role offers a unique leadership platform within an integrated health system committed to expanding access to high-quality cardiovascular care across diverse geographic markets.

The organization offers competitive compensation ranging between $550,000 and $1,000,000 depending on academic rank and experience, supported by a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid time off, malpractice coverage with post-employment tail coverage, relocation expense reimbursement, CME days and allowance, and additional benefits applicable from Loyola University Chicago or the VA where relevant.
