The property offers guests an enhanced experience with free WiFi, a 24-hour mini-market, in-room conveniences like microwaves, refrigerators, coffee machines, and entertainment options including video games. The facility also features a 24-hour business center, self-service laundry, and is conveniently connected to Peachtree Center Station MARTA, providing easy airport access. These attributes position the AC Hotel as a prime destination for travelers seeking comfort, convenience, and quality service in downtown Atlanta.

The role of Cook at AC Hotel Atlanta Downtown is a pivotal kitchen position responsible for maintaining the high culinary standards that guests expect. This role spans multiple food service outlets within the hotel, including the restaurant, cafe, room service, employee cafeteria, and banquet operations. As a Cook, you will not only prepare and supervise food production but also lead kitchen staff to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of kitchen operations. Responsibilities require a blend of culinary expertise, leadership skills, and proactive problem-solving to deliver food that meets quality, portion control, and presentation benchmarks while adhering to hygiene and safety standards.

The ideal candidate will be a culinary professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates creativity in food preparation, and has a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. You will anticipate operational challenges, communicate clearly and professionally with co-workers and guests, and manage kitchen organization to maintain cleanliness and safety protocols. Time management plays a critical role in coordinating food preparation and service to ensure timeliness without compromising on taste or quality. Candidates are expected to have previous supervisory experience, substantial culinary tenure or education, and required certifications such as Food Handlers Certification compliant with state regulations.

This position offers candidates the opportunity to work in a reputable hotel with a supportive team environment where culinary talents can flourish. Employees who join as full-time members after an initial waiting period become eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes daily pay options, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, disability income plans, life insurance benefits, paid time off, employee assistance programs, and retirement plans. This thorough benefit structure reflects the hotel's commitment to supporting the well-being and professional growth of its staff while promoting a positive workplace culture.

AC Hotel Atlanta Downtown is proud to be part of the vibrant Atlanta hospitality scene, providing an exciting workplace for culinary professionals passionate about excellence and customer service.
